I am a graduate of UC DAAP in Industrial Design, and am specifically interested in design strategy and research. I have specific interests in medical, consumer tech, sporting goods, aviation, and system/service design.

 

It all started at Home Depot. Yes, you read that right - Home Depot. One of my favorite activities growing up was going with my dad to the Kids Workshops at Home Depot and building all different kinds of wooden projects. That is where my love for tinkering began.

 

What drew me to industrial design was the unique problem solving aspect. I really love putting myself in the mindset of the consumer to solve their current challenges and forecast future challenges (for all stakeholders). After all, our world is ever changing and the needs of all stakeholders are changing just as quickly, including business needs. Bringing all of this together to design holistic physical products, experiences, and systems for users is where my interests lie. 

 

I love learning quickly and picking up new skills on the fly to create the best end result. Design is all about constantly learning – new processes, new consumers, new technologies – and being able to grasp concepts quickly is essential.  

 

Outside of design, you can find me watching the latest Netflix series, cheering on the Bearcats & the Buckeyes, trying a new restaurant, or planning a new adventure.
